The Beautiful Darrah, The Abington Gobble Wobble and Thanksgiving Dinner-Better late than never!

This is the beautiful Darrah and I:

Darrah has been running for a few years now, and she's the one who inspired me to start.  If I have any problems or questions about anything, she's got the answers.  I rely on her to keep me motivated and to check to make sure I get my workouts in.  She's amazing.

On Thanksgiving we ran the Abington Gobble Wobble with her friend Erin.  And yes, she made those awesome shirts for us.

I got up super early to get ready, and left the house around 7:45 with a bagel in hand.

And let me tell you, that bagel was deeelish.  I searched high and low and found those Cinnamon Swirl bagels at Giant.  Totally worth the WW points.

We got there, met up with Darrah, posed for the typical pre-run photos, and we were off.  And that race was hard.  I think they picked the hilliest route through Abington, because there were some monster hills.

Here's us coming up to the finish line:

We finished around 36 minutes, and here's the post-race photos:

After the race, I went home, got cleaned up, and eventually Kyle and I made our way over to my grandmom's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

The family

My plate loaded up with all the Thanksgiving Day staples.  After this photo was taken, that food was inhaled in approximately 3.5 seconds.

David trying to get his stomach to settle after a double serving of everything:

My grandmom has an awesome display of little stuffed animals, right?

Me in a food coma, making Kyle play with my hair:

That was our Thanksgiving Day spent with friends and family.  We went home early and got to bed, since I had to be at work the next day-I think I was the only person on the planet who had to work.
